1. Toeic listening format

The Toeic Listening test consists of four parts (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4) with a total of 100 questions. You will have 45 minutes to complete all four parts.

Unlike other English exams, accents in the Toeic listening test come from different English-speaking countries, ranging from the US, Canada, UK to Australia and New Zealand. Thus, to gain a high mark in this test, you should practice listening to various accents. 

 

1.1. Part 1: Photographs 

 

a. Description of the task

The Toeic part 1 comprises 6 photographs. You have to listen to 4 sentences per paragraph and then choose the one that best describes that photo. No description is written. Only options A, B, C, and D are written.

2. Toeic listening test score

The Toeic Listening test is not a pass or fail one. Your score will not be deducted if you give wrong answers. The result of the test demonstrates your English proficiency level in listening skills.
